For the past year or two, Will and I have been friendly with a young lady who is probably the only true rock fan in her hip hop/rap/reggaeton-loving high school (nothing against those genres). As we’ve remembered the rock that excited us when we were her age and up to our mid-20s (waaay too long ago), we’ve occasionally passed some of our favorites along to her. Recently she celebrated a birthday and we made her a mix of must-listens to put what she likes today in a little more perspective.
