As I walked through the doors of Target earlier today to pick up some more of the numerous small household items we need, I was pleasantly surprised to be greeted with a display of the store’s newest low-cost collaboration with a high-end designer: women’s clothing by haute label Proenza Schouler. From a quick look, it seems like these designs are a lot more fun and stylish than the popular but (I think) boring limited-edition lines Karl Lagerfeld and Stella McCartney did for H&M. The clothes are, of course, not very well made, but nothing costs more than $45. I may have to go treat myself to something later this weekend…
