As I stated over on the old blog, this seems to be the next wave for blogging geeks. It’s aesthetically more pleasing, plus I like the “category” options. Now you can jump to your favorite Eating, Listening, Watching, Reading, and other posts without a laborious search through the archives. Bear with me while I get used to my new toy!

Oh Sh1t. Moving blog? That’s like moving house… traumatic. But then I can’t even bear the thought of decorating… You know you oculd redesign on blogger (not that I ever find the time, of course). Anyway, welcome to wordpress – look forward to seeing how you develop.
Have you heard from Will? Recording going OK?

Problem is, I can’t transfer my posts over here. So I’m abandoning house more than moving.
Re Will, he’s having a blast down there. I think he’ll be even more excited when the rest of the band leaves and he has the place to himself.

Thirteen hours on Saturday, thirteen hours today. Things are going well, but I wouldn’t say I’m more excited that everyone’s gone. They left for CT at 9:30 in the BRV (Big Red Van) and now I’m alone in the vast four-story studio, which was once a department store. I feel kind of like Corduroy the bear. Corduroy was happy but a little bit lonely.

Alas, I had to dispense with the tree–that template didn’t allow the sidebar features I wanted. Maybe when I get better at using this, I’ll figure out how to get categories and archives into the prettier templates.
